Wrapping It Up!

December 10th, 2012

It’s time to wrap up another successful toy drive! Thanks to you, we had an amazingly great year! Stuff the Sleigh collected 6,260 toys and $30,456.63! We want to especially thank 1st Assembly of God NLR for choosing us once again to receive the love offering collected at their Christmas Lane. This year’s love offering was over $18,000! An STS donation record!
Tomorrow the caseworkers from around the state will come to pick up the toys and take them back to the foster children in their counties. We are truly grateful to our community, family, friends, and our Lord for all that has happened to make the 2012 Stuff the Sleigh toy drive a huge success!

We received 1,092 toys and over $5,000 this morning! Check back soon to see the totals for the week. As always, we couldn’t have done it without Tom Brannon and Today’s THV!

Thanks so much to our awesome counters/sorters from Arkansas Baptist High School’s Beta Club! They had it all done in 40 minutes flat!

We had a great start to this year’s toy drive this morning! A couple hundred toys and just under $2,000 was collected. Thanks so much to Tom Brannon for his big heart! We had a blast talking to all those who came out, and enjoyed chili and brownies! Thanks to Chenal Restoration for transporting our sleigh!
We’re hoping for no rain or at least no storms in the morning at Bryant Walmart!

Countdown to the 2012 Stuff the Sleigh Toy Drive

November 9th, 2012

We are just a few weeks away from the 2012 Stuff the Sleigh Toy Drive. Join us the week of December 3-7 as we collect new, unwrapped toys for the foster children in Arkansas. See you soon!!!

Stuff the Sleigh Rained Out for Monday!

December 4th, 2011

Due to the massive amounts of rain we have received, we have made the decision to cancel the toy drive’s kick off at the Bryant Walmart. The high potential for flooding and large amounts of rain that are forcasted to continue to fall all night and all day Monday, it is much safer to kick off the 2011 Stuff the Sleigh toy drive on Tuesday at the Walmart in Cabot.
Any toys that are brought to the Bryant Walmart may be left at their Customer Service desk where they will be picked up this week.

This is the first time we have had to cancel a morning in 10 years! We are disappointed, but hope to see everyone out at the other locations!

Gearing Up for 2011 Toy Drive!

November 15th, 2011

We are excited and looking forward to seeing everybody at the 2011 STS toy drive!

More than a “Merry Little Christmas”!

December 23rd, 2010

Words cannot express how great this year’s toy drive was! Thanks to our generous communities, Stuff the Sleigh raised 12,341 toys and $36,075.05 in one week! It was a huge success! These toys were picked up by caseworkers who couldn’t believe their eyes! They were so thankful and excited that their foster children would be having a VERY merry Christmas! After 3 trips to Best Buy, we finally covered all of the teenagers’ wishes! That included 40+ IPOD Touches, 18 laptops, and bunches of PSPs, DSs, and cameras!
We want to say a BIG thanks to several of our partners:
Everett Pontiac, Buick, GMC-for the fabulous big red truck to carry our sleigh for the week!
Mystical Carpet Care & Restoration-for the use of their wonderful warehouse that we turned into toyland!
Middleton Heat & Air-for the big truck to transport our toys each morning!
PODS-for picking up toys from the schools and bringing them to our warehouse!
Walmart-for letting us “camp out” on their front doors each morning!
NLR First Assembly of God-for choosing us as their non-profit to partner with again this year. From Pastor Randy being there in the mornings with us to greet those who came by, to the generous love offering from Christmas Lane, we were overwhelmed by your generosity.
Telcoe Credit Union-for keeping us company each morning with the RV!
Alice 107.7 (Heather and DC)-for hanging out with us to help spread the word!
Today’s THV (TOM AND ALLISON!)-for braving the cold with us each morning to make sure people knew we were there!

We are grateful for ALL of the VOLUNTEERS who came and helped us count and sort the toys each morning-you were all lifesavers!

We hope you have a Merrier Christmas knowing that foster children in Arkansas will have a little Christmas magic thanks to YOU!
