This is the first year that my church (First Southern of Bryant) and I have been involved with STS. We have normally done Toys for Tots in the past, but we have many church members who are foster parents. We thought we would honor their service by collecting for STS. We had a pretty good turn out, but hoping next year will be even better – as I’m already making plans for next year. I love kids and it saddens me to think of even one child without a Christmas present. Foster kids are already going through so much, and we need to do everything we can to bring them joy at Christmas and to turn their lives around. These kids, your kids, my kids, all of our kids are our future. The way I see it is, that we need to give them as much love now so they can be better leaders for tomorrow. God’s greatest gift to us is love! What better way for us to share HIS love with others, than to show a child how much they are loved and appreciated! So thank you and Tom Brandon for giving us an opportunity to share God’s love!!!
